Tommy Atkins

This type of mangos is characterized by an exceptional green-purple color from outside and a yellow-orange color on the inside. It has a nice oval shape and big size with a thick and soft peel.

Unlike other types, it contains a small number of fibers that works on promoting digestion because it contains a group of digestive enzymes known as amylase that works to break down large food particles to facilitate absorption, and these enzymes are found in the ripe fruit more.
