
Tomb walls take us to an in-depth journey with how the ancient Egyptian lived his life. It showed us traditions they abided by, relations between families and different social levels, their beliefs and festivals, what do they eat and when? sacrifices they offered to their Gods, etc. Among one of the most important images on the tomb walls is how they celebrated food and it was included as a main item in many scenes. We see images of Poultry, cows and dairy products, a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, wine, bread and beer – as the most seen in their daily life and festivals.
They were very much attached to their land and glorified it as it supplies them with food and life they need. From the ancient times, the Egyptian soul was attached to his farm and gave it all his dedication, resources and bore the future for him and his family.
